We started by making one thing ourselves: 58 mm pin badges about the way people actually live online. They did well enough that other makers started asking whether they could sell alongside them.

So that is what this is now. Potters, illustrators, screen printers, soap makers, stationers, small brands run out of a spare room — anyone making something real, listing it themselves, keeping most of what a buyer pays.

The bit we care about is attribution. On most marketplaces the platform is the brand and the person who made your mug is a line item in a fulfilment system. Here every product carries its maker's name and links to their own storefront. There is no paid placement and no ad auction, so nobody can buy their way to the top of the page.

We review every seller by hand and keep the catalogue small enough to actually read. That means we say no sometimes, and it means we grow slowly. Both are on purpose.
